I've thought about using social media to get traffic. Is it possible to use it to make money with URL shortners or pay per click sponsors?

Real traffic can be monetized in many different ways. If the social traffic is legit then why not? As long as people are interested in your offers, they'll probably take the time to complete them and make you $

Is this an effective way to get traffic to sponsors? It wouldn't be niche traffic. Maybe a Twitter account pretending to be someone just to get followers.

Don't go down the fake profile road, trust me its all negative.Yes it might be profitable especially if you go the adult route.Pretending to be somebody else is just grimy and sleezy. Focus on building Niche related accounts and build them up. I like Social media traffic better than Google traffic. Its not as boring, and can be just as profitable if you know what you are doing.I earn all my cash with social media.

CPA+Social Media can be a gold mine if you do it correct.

Do you have a site with your social media stuff or just promote sponsors via social media?

Create your own website and promote offers on there.Send your social media traffic to your site. The hard part is getting the traffic so focus on that first.

I understand that it isn't set in stone how many people click on links. From your experience what is your follower to click ratio? How many followers on average click on links?
