Worried it will affect my site's SEO. These are top notch 100% original articles on his site, stuff you'd put on a branded site.. So I got his permission to use and modify them on my site.. I want to just copy and paste them and give him credit.. I want these pages to index as well.. My setup: My one site has 100% Original content, 40 articles and I plan to add more since it's becoming an authority.. Is it safe to mix in his content or will it hurt me? I'm more focused more on reader engagement, and his content exactly how it is will help brand my site..

I don't have the time to re-write these, and it's pointless for me if it's not 100% original, so not sure what to do.. I want to add around 20 articles of his to start, I currently have 40-50 100% original articles of my own already on there.. But over time I'll be adding maybe 5-10 of his articles mixed in with 20-30 of my original articles per month. It works out well for both of us, he gets traffic and I get content for one niche section that's perfect for my readers. Might be bad for SEO, but either way this needs to go on my site for engagement and branding benefits and reasons.

    Your thoughts?
