Part Three: Even (3) more psychological techniques to make bank!

    Hey there,
    I'm here again with another one of these psychology sales threads :D

    If you haven't read the other two - they are definitely worth reading:

    Since the threads received positive feedback I thought I can share another one with you guys and I hope you have much success with them as with the other ones hehe


    These methods can be used in anything related to sales but I'm going to write them and adapt them to CPA marketers who are using a free ebook as an incentive to get visitors to fill out their offers ;)


    I'm going to present you three other techniques right now:

    Technique 7: The Review Technique

    Technique 8: The Part-of-Method Technique

    Technique 9: Old-vs-New Technique



    Sounds interesting to you? OK so then let's not waste time, here we go:


    Technique 7: The Review Technique


    Alright .. For the first technique all you have to do is to write a blog posting which contains minimum 2 topics or more...one topic should be roughly about your freebie/ebook and the other should be about something else..

    For instance: I'm writing something about product generation and in the second half of my blog post is something about the ebook which is why the users are reading that blog post :D

    One way to use this is to end the blog post with "Thanks for reading. Now before downloading my ebook please give me a quick review about my blog post. You don't even have to write something, all you have to do is to click on one of the links below and fill out the offer. After filling the offer my web site is registering who voted for what and you will be immediately accessing the download link of my ebook

    I LIKE IT: I DISLIKE IT:
    CPA OFFER A LINK CPA OFFER B LINK

    Thanks"

    Notes: "before downloading my ebook" is subtly suggesting that the user is going to download your eBook (sneaky sneaky). "You don't even have to write something" is disarming their lazyness and fear of having to write a wall of text before getting your ebook and also creating a comparison: WRITING vs. SIMPLY FILLING AN EMAIL FORM -- it's clear that filling something out is much much easier and faster to do... ;)

    Another way is just to write about your ebook in that blog post and have it end with "Alright I really need honest opinions about my blog overall." same blah blah as above and then
    "
    I LIKE IT: I DISLIKE IT:
    CPA OFFER A LINK CPA OFFER B LINK"




    Technique 8: The Part-of-Method Technique


    The name of this one may be a bit irritating at first but it is a really powerful technique..

    In contrast to the other techniques you are actually giving away your eBook/freebie for free without having anyone to fill out anything. But the really really cool shit is your ebook is teaching them something cool and then about after 1/3 or 1/2 of the book there are some things mentioned the user just HAS to have in order to do the things mentioned in your book. Now the trick is that some of the elements the user need are going to be incentivized from you with a CPA offer.

    For example:

    Your ebook is about "how to make money with webinars" or something like that. You are going to explain your technique etc. etc. and then you will state "ok now you need this software which you can get here for free and legal: www.mywebsite.com/software/ " you can then explain in your book what they have to do with your CPA offer or on your page/link ;)

    This technique will create a huge amount of desire cause they are A) interested in their method and B) have already invested time into reading your stuff. Okay the example may not that be that great but you get the point: the more elemental the thing they need to download is in order to take action upon your explained things, the more is the desire to visit your link and fill the offer!!



    Technique 9: Old-vs-New Technique


    Okay now to the last one: You are going to make another blog post which is talking about a great great method of (for ex) making money. The thing is ONLY at the END you will tell them that this method is unfortunately outdated BUT (if they liked it and) if they want a newer verison of it/something new which is right now working (you can combine it with scarcity really well at this point) they can download it after filling the offer!

    The sneaky thing is as I've said that you are NOT going to write in the title or at the beginning of your blog post that this technique is outdated. They have to read everything and THEN after reading everything you will tell them that this is UNFORTUNATELY NOT WORKING ANYMORE :( ;) ;)

    Good stuff again J! I love the psychology in these, and I know it works. Since you are finished up with these posts, do you suggest any further reading? I've just borrowed "The Psychology of Persuasion" from my local library, and I'm going to see what I can get from that.
