    UPDATE:

i'm gonna go through ecomhunt and make a text document. in the document i'm gonna list every single product on ecomhunt and then give myself a reason why i will test it or not test it. most products i won't test. but i want to have notes on why i'm not deciding to test it, so i can look at it later. some reasons not to test would be "poor product quality" "low order number on aliexpress" "can't find good video content" "product too cheap, can't price at $25", etc. basically reasons why i'm skipping over products. and which products i'm actually going to test. this is so i don't have to constantly see the same products on ecomhunt and think "wait, why aren't i testing this again?"

Do you still have the email list of people who bought your first "successful" product? Why not find a product from the same niche and email get them on an email campaign instead of starting from scratch?

would be a step towards building a brand and a community would it not? Just trying to understand your approach and your thinking on starting a new store

i spend around 2x the break even CPP. usually $30 or so. if i don't pop 1 sale by then or at least get some ATCs or ICs then i kill the product
i don't use snapchat anymore. i wasted $1300 on snapchat ads like an idiot. got nothing in return

    UPDATE

i did product research and fully customized a new site with a detailed product page in just a few hours. i'm getting a lot faster and more streamlined at making new stores. i also just made a video ad for the product. about to swap around the clips to get 2 more variations, 3 ads total. gonna put up these 3 ads by tonight. in the morning they should be approved and i'll begin testing. took me literally 1 day to get this all done. fast as FUCK testing. i can test new products in just 1 day now

let's see what happens with this product. maybe it's a winner. if not then that's fine. i've got a fuck ton of products loaded up and ready to go right after this one

    UPDATE:

well everything is lock and loaded for tomorrow. should get ad approval tomorrow morning. all i need to do now is set up e-mail and that's it. hopefully the results for this one will be good. gonna run the ads tomorrow, break even CPP is $20. gonna let ads run until i hit $30-40. if i can't crack 1 sale at that much spend then i'm gonna kill the product

    UPDATE

still testing. made 4 stores that failed. the 4th store got 1 sale after $25 spend but ultimately failed. on my 5th store now, running the ads as we speak. for this product i switched my method of sourcing. the product is solid in my opinion. initial ad results are grat. 14 second avg watch time, 28 cent content views. amazing. $8.48 spend so far. i need to make a sale though. otherwise cost per results is going to go higher and higher

i have to admit, doing this product was a bit harder. cause there wasn't as much video content i could use. i managed to whip up a solid store and creatives though

    and so we go

You should stop wasting money till coronavirus calm down. Make some amazing stores and test them when yall start consuming again.

    UPDATE:

put dropshipping on hold for now. decided that because of corona virus it'll be difficult to find a winner and scale it. this is after testing like 6-10 products from ecomhunt and other methods of sourcing. all of those testing stores failed

decided to try my hand at affiliate marketing, clickbank + facebook ads. made an opt in page and thank you page. picked the top offer for a category in clickbank. using facebook ads to promote a free video that i got from youtube. the key here is that i ask for people's e-mails if they want to see the video. at the bottom of the thank you page i include my clickbank offer as side benefit. i have email automation set up. 4 days worth of emails, one a day starting after they subscribe

no idea how many sales i can get from like 40 leads or something. i've heard 5% conversion rate is not bad? i don't know. i'll just leave this running for a few days i guess, spend like $100-200 on it and just hope i can make a sale

    UPDATE

clickbank seemed to have failed? got 51 e-mail subscribers after $83 spend. 41 hops, 4 order impressions, 0 sales. i'm gonna let my e-mail automation send out and maybe in like 3 days i can get 1 sale?

i decided to try cpa marketing. i can easily get $1.50-2.00 USA leads. and on cpagrip USA offers pay out $3.53 per e-mail submit. this is great, i can get around 40% margins promoting these tiny e-mail submit offers. i just put a content locker on my clickfunnel page. duped my campaign. once it gets approved i'm gonna start running these ads tomorrow. i should be able to do well with it? i know i can get 20-30 cent landing page views lol... i won't really know the results until i try though. maybe it'll cost more than $1.50-2.00 to get someone to do a free survey from a content locker, who knows. but 100 people view the content locker, 70 people click it, then... i would assume i can get at least 20% to submit an e-mail? that was my conversion rate leads/total LP visits

    we'll see what happens tomorrow

With the opt-ins and hops but no sales, plus similar things happening across multiple verticals, it might be showing that there's basic interest but everyone's clutching so hard to their purse strings right now for fear of some zombie apocalypse that it's hard to clearly tell right now what should really be converting well as far as actual sales. Marketing CPA offers sounds like an interesting move right now though, good luck and we'll see.

yeah i'm trying to do some basic math to see if i can come out ahead with cpa offers. for usa traffic it costs me on average 50 cents for a landing page view. the question is, how many of these views will go all the way to completing one of the surveys? if on average it takes 3 or 4 views to get 1 survey done, then that's perfect. but if it takes 6 or 7 views, then i won't come out ahead and this whole thing won't be worth it. ads are still in review. i will have my answer later today hopefully
