Wil parking company block my account if I link to domain from youtube video description? Or if I only watermark them?

The question is: if you get caught. If you get caught sending traffic to parked domains, then usually yes. I would spread back links first.
 
What if I don't get caught ( IE - i remove all watermarked images after getting a few hits from each), but ammount of traffic I get is suspectable - because of ugly domain name?
 
You'll probably get an email from them asking to explain how it is possible that you get the amount of traffic you're getting.
Better have your story ready.
 
watermark is safe enough,just cut off the endding or something that the visitors really want to see in the video,they will type the url in watermark themselves.more like a typo traffic.
 
if u use whypark you dont have to worry about that at all, they allow you to promote in any way you want to.
 
interesting I find this post, I submitted two vids to Metacafe last night both went on the first page, got 30K plus views, and I got 400 uniques up from 2 the day before.

I park w/ sedo and sent them email to let them know about this, thank you for mentioning whypark, I will try them if sedo riffs.
 
Be careful of SEDO - I did some BH stuff to get traffic to a parked page and quite a few clicks went through.

I had 246 euros in my account and then I got the email saying that they were unsure how all of a sudden my domains were getting traffic so closed my account and kepy my money - they now don't answer my emails either :(

My bet is that they probably noticed a while back, but decided to milk it for a lil bit to get some moneys.

Totally agree. This is a simple answer to parking sites . 100 sites for $100.
They scrape the internet and put on pages for keywords you enter. You can enter up to 20 keywords so it gives you plenty of scope. Try not to be too hard and fast in your selection and you will get a huge site. Some of my sites have up to 5000 articles on them simply because of my choice of keywords.
Some have only 9 or so due to specialist or limited scope of keyword choice.
The average seems to be around the 300 mark. Again pretty good for a parked site. It is not just all advertisements as per usual parked pages but useful articles that will have your viewer clicking away and even coming back.

I even got to page one (position 6) for one of my keywords on one of them but its slipped to position 1 on page 2 now. Haven't checked many but we are able to work them and draw traffic to them.

You have plenty of scope to put on what you like in two positions on the pages or you can use their integrated revenue sharing at 60:40 arrangement.

Your main work is keywords, meta tag and set up at Google to get indexed.

Not bad for parking. This is pseudo parking. If you have domains sitting around this simply is the way to go.
 
W/ Sedo I'm not doing BH and I contacted my AE explaining traffic source, But I do want to be diversified.

I noticed w/ Whypark its $100 up front, anybody ask if they can take this out of their earnings? I will contact, also interested if they allow gateways.
 
If whypark is not concerned with the quality of the traffic being sent to their network, and is willing to let you promote the domains any way you want, that might be OK in the short run, but I think we all know watermarking videos doesn't generally deliver high quality converting traffic.

If I was an advertiser, I'd pull my non-converting investment right off their network. I think the future is murky for these guys. Someone let me know if they EVER get paid.
 
You have two choices with WhyPark. You can put on your own adsense or any other system you use with your own code, whereby WhyPark has no input as to whether you get paid. So far this is the way I have gone.

The other choice is to use their integrated network of advertising where they WhyPark pay you 60% commission and keep 40 for themselves. I have no idea if they have any input into traffic where they have an interest in the cut. I wouldn't say they don't have a concern for the quality of traffic. It is not a certainty they will put their ads on your sites. They have to approve where they will partner with you. This probably would depend on domain name choice.

These sites are darned better looking than the normal parked sites which are just a pure ad fest.



They do have their Clickbank ad on all your sites to sell their system but it is simply a simple click and not a banner or long text.

Parking sites should not care how you get traffic, they make money when you make money. Go Dad*y lets you use any source to bring relevant traffic to your parked domain. I had a talk with them about that. If you pay the 9.99 month for 80-20 split it works out better than others that are free. If you are bringing enough traffic to them.
 
About WhyPark and the quality of your traffic.
This is from their TOS.

"We may terminate this Agreement effective immediately and without notice if.........(ii) we determine, our sole and absolute discretion, that the quality or nature of the traffic delivered by you is not satisfactory.........................."

is this option still available? I don't see anything about the $100/100 domains. Of course now whypark is own by Parked
 
Whypark is now free for the basic service (with add-on services for a monthly fee - like incoming RSS feed). I've been using them a lot lately. There's a great thread on namepros dot com (hope it's OK to mention them?) in the Monetization section where several people share tips to improve Whypark sites
