Hey guys, this is a topic that has absolutely been covered before, but I figure it can help the new guys out a bit if I explain it more. Parasite pages are essentially using pages on authoritative domains to rank easier, faster, and higher. This is what I used to do (don't do much affiliate marketing anymore) and what people are still doing to this day to make thousands without much effort. [You can verify the validity of this post by checking the WF/other sites where this is possible, and you'll see exactly what I'm talking about.] Remember this can be applied to any niche, but I used to do clickbank products so here was my exact process. Step 1: Find a suitable clickbank product. This means one that is converting well, fairly new, and has a growing popularity. Step 2: Find a potential place for your "parasite" page. I was focused on the IM "work from home" niche itself, so the WF was essentially the authority site that I could easily post content onto. I would pay for a forum thread, which I had complete control over, and just post tons of content on it, kinda like a blog optimized for an affiliate product. Step 3: Post content (optimize the page as best as you can for search), post more content (really, more content = better rankings in my experience), optimize for conversions (I would usually use tricks like linking an image to the sales page, and the image would be a screenshot of the video sales letter with a big "play button arrow" for higher CTR). Step 4: Spam the page as much as you want. An enormous authority site can handle the spam well -- it will rank quickly and highly, and cannot negatively effect you in any way. Since this page isn't on your domain, you're at no risk of getting a penalty. The worst that happens is your page is deranked, and you do it again. Basically that's a simple way to get your own landing page ranked quickly and cheaply. Remember, your aff links should be included in the parasite page with a strong call-to-action. You don't need any high-end services, back then (maybe 6 months) I was ranking pages with just GSA... yeah, a good GSA spam campaign alone can rank these sites in days. I'm sure blackhatseo has changed significantly in the past 6 months, but this process still stands... how do I know? Because some of these parasite pages are still bringing me in commissions to this day, when I haven't even looked at them in months. I'm not sure if I explained this as clearly as possible, so let me know if you have any questions. Hopefully this will open some of the newbies' eyes to the kinda cheap/quick approach to affiliate marketing. This isn't a long-term approach, but can be good if you're new to IM.
