Is there any way to understand if PPC traffic we are buying is legit or not? I mean its real and not just bots ?

check GA.
bounce rate, avg. seassion will help you identify bot traffic

You can also check the referrer section of GA to look closer. If it's direct, a high bounce rate (~95%) can indicate bot traffic.
