With all this easy money stuff floating around I asked friends if they would accept a job watching tv and another about a part time job talking about stuff to their friends, but i wonder if they would even do that. I think some people are too defiant to want to do anything asked of them or told to them. Some barely make it under a boss and expect to make millions online being their own boss.

So end question, who would go on welfare if they could but not be allowed to make any other income?

Can't say I would. Mostly from social stigma, haha. But also, it's just not that much money, and doing almost any semi-skilled labor would net like double what welfare gives you (unless you have like 8 kids), so I can't see it.

would I get paid to drink and party?

Yes, in fact I would. That is a job I would love to have. As long as the job was on my own terms haha...

I wouldn't go on welfare if I was not allowed to make any other income, but that isn't really getting paid to do what I want either (I don't want to be on welfare). But if I could get paid to surf the net and/or play games, and not be allowed to make any other income I would. It would be something that I like to do, want to do, and do already.

I wouldn't. I kind of like having the various balls junggling and bringing in money. I would get so freaking bored otherwise, pahh, the thought scares me.

In your fictional world does welfare pay $12,000 a month? If so then absolutely

Interesting topic. I am not big on doing nothing and getting paid for it. But that said, my brother has done it for about 10 years now. Although this is in Australia and i believe we pay our bludgers a lot more and for any length of time. He wouldnt have it any other way. He is in a commision house, so rent is cheap he gets his fortnightly payments and just screws around on the net and playing games. Funny really, im a tradesman with the usual debts etc and some weeks i am struggling to rub 5 cents together and he always has bux. Oh yea i should add, he does tattoos on the side. So he does generate a few bux there also. Still i would rather be in my shoes. Sometimes work is more than just bux. Makes me feel like a contributor not a leach.
