I've noticed lately on my PPC accounts in Yahoo and MSN that on some of my campaigns, they're showing more clicks than what I am seeing on my end in my weblogs. Not surprisingly, these same campaigns are doing terrible.

I've checked my destination URLs to make sure everything was working correctly, no typos, etc...

Is there a way to do something like this? Click on paid ads and have it register as a click but not actually visit the destination?

What sucks is I cannot find any referrer info on the sources because they are not making their way to my site.

Does your traffic stats update live? Also, PPC traffic will show up as a blank referrer.

Increase the rate at which your stats script builds analysis of your apache logs.

What does it show the referrer as? I am no PPC expert and haven't really done it enough to track my PPC thoroughly. I'm only going on what I see people saying here. I always see people saying to tell CPA's you use PPC if you are using a method that they might not like, because they won't be able to tell where the traffic is coming from. Don't take my word for it though.
