Paid for a blog posting service here on bhw, and on Feb 25 the articles with my link in them rolled off the home page.

Anyway, my rankings have done nothing but drop over the last 2 days and I was wondering if those 3 or 4 blog posts no longer being on the home page could really play that big of a role?

I'm thinking of just waiting it out to see, but right now it's definitely not coming off as a coincidence.. Should probably stop wasting money and just build my own PBN at this point

    Thoughts?

You will usually see a rank drop when the links roll off the homepage.

Either build your own PBN or make posts to Web 2.0's and throw some links at them. Gonna be much cheaper to go Web 2.0 route. Obviously more control on the PBN side but depends on your situation. Waste of money buying posts that roll off home page like that. Unless they last quite awhile and you're just churning and burning for that short time frame, I wouldn't even think of buying shit like that again. Your instincts are right. Trust them and move forward.

Building your own PBN will be better if you can spend time and money. On the other hand not all PBN are equals as the domains, hosting , content, and strength will vary.

Maybe avoid just doing homepage links? Diversify more backlinks profiles.
