Page redirect according to language

    Already tried hrflang redirect.
    Not working.

    Its a bad for SEO to use .htacess redirect ?

    I'm need a language redirect for it :

    Google SERPS - > Home page - > Country redirect - > Language personalized home page

    To answer your first question: htaccess redirects are completely fine with SEO.
    Probably the best way to do a redirect.

    This is gonna screw your site up.

    Use hreflangs only for this purpose, or create different websites for different languages.

    Hreflang does not work well.
    Or i'm doing it wrong.But i don't think so...

    Today i've read bad things about forcing redirect(httacess)..

    Maybe language option pop up ?

    If you force the redirect based on country, Googlebot comes from USA it'll always see the English version. Also redirecting based on user agent or country is bad for your rankings. hreflangs is the right way, even though today Google seems to have trouble with it or has not implemented it fully for some reason.
