    Hello BHW,

I thought redirection will be good and this happened.
I have blogspot blog which was having PR2 so I thought to make it custom domain.
So, I bought new domain from blogspot itself and automatically redirected my blog to newly register domain.
Website working fine but the pagerank disappeared.

How does this happened? All these years I was reading that if we do redirection, PR also will redirect and now I am confuse.:(
What you can say on this? Is anyone had same issue ever.

Relax, it takes a while to "accommodate" the new domain. The PageRank will appear after 4 to 5 months, but it is current in Google's database, it just takes a while to become public.

There are a few occasions yearly when they publish PR, so you get to see new PR. But the real PR, the one used for ranking is basically updated daily or weekly, they just don't show it to you.
