How do I fix this? Should I change my site theme to a more mobile friendly one?

What does the second issue mean? I use some call to action buttons in between my content but they are rendering perfectly on mobile. So what is the problem here?

Text too small usually indicate font size below 16 (I think, maybe 14). It may not be your main content text, could be some footer, theme or bio text. I had this problem with text in an author box.

Clickable elements could be anything in content or theme related. I've had this issues with a theme menu, and was related to text size making the links too close.

There is no short answer to this tbh. My suggestion would be to check your site on pagespeed.dev, and fix the errors one by one as you see them. If you don’t know how to, hire someone may be.

Increase the font size to at least 20px, and you will solve the problem. If you have small icons (flag icons, social media icons) on that page, make sure you increase the icon size and the space between.

Hmmm or better yet, use rem/em for fonts. px is good for a few things, but not font size.

I made the necessary changes before too and submitted it to google.
But the thing is when I live test the url it says page is usable on mobile. But this change isn't getting updated on google index somehow. Everytime I open the indexed pages details it shows my page has mobile usability issues but live testing shows my site is usable on mobile.

For example I did a mobile usability test on the affected page just now and it shows all is perfect as below

But when I inspect the url of the indexed page it again starts showing the "page has issues" error as I showed in the screenshot in the first message.

Good! Press "Start new validation" and wait for the fix. Cheers!

I did the validation 2-3 times before. But everytime it goes back to the same "page issue" errors.

My site is basically stranded with only 2 indexed pages (one being the homepage and the other being the affected article page)

Here goes my 9999 posts :’(

On topic: Don’t test it on google console. Test it on pagespeed.dev, and wait for google console to pick it up. Also, don’t force a “re crawl”, imo that’s like telling google to not play good with you.

Make sure your page speed score is more than 90 for mobile devices. That should fix all the usability problems.

Do this after the changes mentioned above. You have to wait a few days

If you're talking about pagespeed insights from google I already tested the site there through rankmath plugin and here are my stats for mobile for the affected page.

Also congrats for reaching 10k messages :D

Yepp, and it is not good enough. :)

Scroll down till you see the details of the score. You will find usability problems there. I will add a screenshot of that once I am online from the desktop.

What’s more important than the score itself are the points they tell you to fix. I use this tool on every site I build, and it is always very accurate about the ux.
