Hi there,

I have a client who (according to three different SERP trackers) is ranking on the first page of Bing and Yahoo for many of their keywords.

However, when I & they search for those keywords on Bing/Yahoo, they cannot be physically found.

Additionally, Google Analytics says that their traffic from Bing/Yahoo has increased over the past year, 30% and 20%.

Any clues/ideas as to what is going on and how to fix this?

Their servers can detect the website or that you are trying to look for your site so it shuffles it away.

try it incognito

yes. If you are, for example, in Europe, and your website is targeted in US, try this: www.google.com/ncr (ncr comes from No Redirect ). Then, research your link there: site: yoursite.com

Thanks guys...

I went incognito and was able to find them in position 1 for their main keyword.

But how do I explain that the same incognito results are what most people are seeing that they shouldn't worry about the results that they personally see?

What factors besides IP/location, browsing history influence Bings results?

Yes,

There are quite a lot of plannings to be factors regarding this issue. Have you tried other ip addresses or changing G server extensions?

Good Luck,
Commoner

It might be in the tracker website the country is different and you search with a different country Search Engine.
