I noticed some of the offers SHAVED. But a few were right on the money.
I have noticed this with all networks, the advertisers shave.. at least that is what I saw.

First of all,i'm pretty sure that it's not shaving,it's scrubbing by the advertisers side.It is the email submit offers nature, they will start scrubbing when they start losing money,it is not fair to write there that they are paying only for an email submit and make you pay ppc costs then scrub.

I have had a few high converting email submit offers on peerfly, one of them was target $500 to be honest, but all of them started scrubbing big time.It was ppc traffic, but there is nothing to do about that if you are promoting email submit offers.Promote other offers instead. What was your traffic source ?

I used to send them traffic, but stopped after split testing revealed massive shaving.

Usually, its the advertisers that do most of the shaving, and not the networks. Especially with email submits, its usually the merchant that does it, when they realize that not enough people are filling in the second page, or trying any of the offers.

I'm with Peerfly and quite happy with them. Send traffic and got paid. But I admit the payout could be better. I'm from South Africa and it's quite hard to get accepted at CPA networks. :)

Advertisers do more shaving than the networks but both do some shaving. It sucks but it happens and we all hate it.

Just factor it into your marketing budget if you're doing PPC or any type of paid traffic.

I've said this before and I'm sure I'll say it again on this forum... PeerFly DOES NOT scrub leads unless the advertiser sends in a scrub report and says the leads were bad for them. If shaving is going on, it's by the advertiser and unfortunately we have no way to control that.

We've received no complaints from other publishers running the same offers you mentioned. This leads me to think your traffic was not very good and was simply not converting for those offers.

Well, I send quality traffic to peerfly, and I'd say my earnings are suitable. I've split-tested the ipad offer against other networks and peerfly was earning me almost 3x as much as them. Your traffic was probably just of bad quality.

Wow hard to believe there's such disparity in the opinions on this one topic of scrubbing/shaving for one company... all I can say is that I had folks I personally know throughout the country (USA) to test the offers stated DateMatch and Instant Cash Help USING VERIFIABLE AND THEIR CORRECT INFORMATION and they did not convert. I had it done initially once and then giving p e e r f l y the benefit of the doubt, because of Cory and Luke's insistence of no shaving, I tried again...nand then again and again and again all with different people and different geographical locations. And the facts don't lie they scrub/shave and I would guess by this test, and the divergence of opinions stated here, that they do it randomly to remain "under the radar". So consider yourself lucky if you are not one that gets shaved and carry on I suppose but there is no question that they are making up from the accounts where they do not shave on the ones designated for shaving. And oh by the way, its not the advertiser's who are doing it either since they're stats are supposedly dynamic.

So you had "folks" fill up offers just so you could do your little ridiculous test?

Yeah, I'm sure that sort of traffic is just what advertisiers are looking for

yeah what an imbecilic comment that is... i had my suspicions that it was occurring so I needed to determine if I was wasting my precious time marketing and I did. Personally I'm moving on to another company that I can determine is reputable. If you want to continue wasting your time with an affiliate network that you suspect is doing the same then you are free to do so and confirms youre the imbecile that you sound like.

Well after speaking to my AM (Luke) at length I now have to say that there may be other extenuating circumstances that coexist having caused it to appear that they shave when the opposite appears to be the case or the advertisers are on the fly. After extensively evaluating the data it appears that there may be reason why my tests did not "convert" but yet it is not conclusive but is plausible. I'll say this only in conclusion, I am most impressed with the admin team Luke and Cory and their willingness to get to the bottom of the issue and I'm on board with them still and will be actively promoting offers... so proceed accordingly and take action and profit!!
