Just 3 days after BTC-E , Poloniex went down as well. This is crazy. I lost $58K in coins
I was about to add funds to my account and start trading.
Can't feel bad about not investing on Crypto anymore...
And we still have all our professional Wall Steet yuppies here preaching "it's the future". How many more scams till the whole bubble bursts?
What was this site doing that wasn't allowed???????
Sorry to hear about your loss dude!
I was just reading a Google Alert I have set up for Crypto a few hours ago about them changing terms and conditions suddenly.
I see they wrote on Twitter 2 hours ago that they were trying to restore connectivity and trading was halted?
Glad that I took everything out of my account a few weeks ago
Holy shit, I'm so fucking glad I'm using bittrex.
Well if you want to get rid of crypto, take your pick from anything between drug dealing and people trafficking, and the rest that crypto is generally used for. Or maybe something else.
So they're squeezing crypto by squeezing the trading platforms... they want to "regulate" the trade just like they do other stocks and securities so that the big gov and banks can get their free cut.
I wonder if the rumors of insolvency and feeble support feedback helped aid their demuse. That's a startling graphic and no mistake.
This keeps a lot of us weighing the pros and cons of cryptocurrency on the fence.
Hope you are not serious about losing $58k. If you are then That really sucks.
Crypto is not investing and never has been.
It's gambling if you are using it as an "investment" vehicle.
It's fine for sending and receiving funds but if you are treating as it an investment you are missing the mark as it is dice rolling.
I was wondering the same thing... but $58,000 seems like an oddly specific figure to randomly joke about. Does the gov give back the BTC to users or do they just steal it essentially?
Well all I have to say as a no-coiner who was willing to take a punt, is that all my confidence has gone and I'd rather stick my money on the donkey in next year's Grand National.
I should have taken all of my alt coins out of it. I took a few that I had a lot of but still had a reasonable amount in there spread across a bunch of coins. Oh well I'm surprisingly not that bothered by it. I thought I would have been a little more annoyed but I figured with the problems they were having it would not be long. It could have been a lot lot worse for me but still stings to lose a few grand, wish I had the time to have taken them all out. I seriously dont think anyone will see that again if they have gone bust.
10/10 great troll
Not as clean cut as this seems...
Well they are either seized or their servers are just downtimed... both can't be true. But if they WERE seized do you think they would advertise it?
Lies. They are experiencing connectivity issues but nothing to do with being seized...
Separate names with a comma.
