I was wondering, is there a script to run your own casino online? If so, could someone point me to it?

This isn't a download request, just a question?

    Thanks

Setting up an online casino is probably not the easiest. I reckon the backend would need a lot of modification if it isn't 'hand-sown'; e.g. open projects for such. You need a payment gateway and much more. Also need to safeguard yourself against cheaters who use bots and the list just goes on. :)

I respect your question, but why jump into a really BIG market?

    GOOD Question!!

I just thought that with the 'odds' game, that almost certainly the bank wins in the end, it SHOULD be almost guaranteed?

Setting up a online casino would require you to setup license and after you got everything setup you will need to compete with the big guys and thats gonna be very difficult

    You can't do it.

    You need-

    -A lot of capital $$$
    -Several Lawyers
    -Off shore payment processor
    -Offshore banks
    -Staff of programmers, analyists, etc

Come back with 4 million dollars then I can answer you seriously.

The license is probably like 500K. Then you need a monthly budget of at least 25K in order to get customers (PPC, banners...).
I met a friend of my brother-in-law who owned one years ago. He made a shit load of money with it, then sold it. He says it's way too tough now, especially with the fcat that it is now illegal in the States. I think he paid his license 100K back in the days.

    - Go find out what it costs to get a license with Playtech or Microgaming.
    - Base your operations in Montreal, near the Kihwanakee gaming comission.
    - Get your gaming license from the Kihwanakee Gaming Comission
    - Become CAP certified (very expensive)
    - Get as many payment processors as you can (moneybookers, neteller, etc)
    - Get mafia protection

Yea :p you will need truckloads of cash for it. But some aff programs offer you the script for website. You can have your own design and domain. rev share is like you would be promoting their's but Would probably be easiest way to start

This will definitely be a hard market to enter, unless you already have some serious cash at hand ($500 000 and more).
Sure, there probably are some cheap "scripts", however you should stay away from those if you want to attract any serious business.
Reputable software vendors such as Microgaming, BossMedia, etc will not want to deal with someone without a rock solid financial backing.
Plus you need money for licensing, website maintenance, support personnel, etc.

I guess you could use something like that, seems kind of hard to get promoting and stuff though. I wouldn't randomly deposit into a casino I've never heard of.

5ook for a licence is lol, too much.

costa rica isn't the cheapest (nor the best)

the house wins? if you have a significant player base then yes, you get big win occaisionally. at the start, you may get ass raped by winners.

can you get your own casino as an individual? yes, if you have serval hundred thousand dollars to float yourself while you take 2-3 months to get set up with any of the providers out there. meanwhile you're either paying a monthly price or a percentage of your meagre interim profits back to the software provider.

the provider sticks you for customer service charges if you choose to let them deal with the casino players.

you have to be competitive as a casino affiliate program which will lose up to 50% of the net profits (all positives after chargebacks, fees and win/loss). this coupled with the processing fees (they are fucked right now) and the spend you need to get on networks as an affiliate program and hiring staff (developers, client managers, etc) will leave you with a negative balance every months for up to a year.

what else.... look what you're stepping into: industry giants that have been doing this for 10+ years, some up and comers and some minnows who are making more money er month than what people have to initially invest. you're looking at hundred of smaller casinos that you won't be beter than for several years.

finally, setting up requires you to (usually) have a set amount of cash bonded.

someone said $4 million USD. you could do it with 2M at a push and bootstrap and ome dirty tactics but at the end of the day the player has a choice of so many casinos, the market is saturated and why would they choose some sketchy clip joint that has inexperienced executors with no history in the industry.

i could write for a long time on this...
