I recently came across an article about over-SEO and the penalties that Google will implement. Read it here.

I guess destroying concurrence is now available :)

YEah, I read BMR is deindexed.

"Users of popular backlink-building service BuildMyRank woke up to a nasty surprise on March 19th. Not only did the service shut down, but, according to an announcement on the site's blog, "the overwhelming majority of [their] network had been de-indexed (by Google)".

This is the basic synopsis of what's going on:

Big G is or will soon be penalizing websites that are highly SEO optimized in search engines and on-page keywords BUT have crappy un-original content.

This really shouldn't be new news to anyone. The whole purpose of Panda was to weed out sites that have junk content and rank only sites that have "genuine" appropriate content for the pertaining keyword.

More importantly, how the hell do i de-optimize anchor text!?! :D I understand what buildmyrank is but i guess im just curious as to how this will really effect me if i never used BMR lol

This isn't referring necessarily to your bookmarks, but the content. Such as the content on your website, content in articles, content in web 2.0 sites...etc.

You then optimize the keywords by keyword density.

Basically, don't blast one keyword more than 50% of the time. Mix in secondary and long-tail keywords. If building to your money site, throw in some randoms like "website" "site" "yourURL(dot)com" "your niche" "broad keyword"

As far as SeNuke, I'm guessing your talking about comment blasts to your backlinks. When doing blog comments, for example {keyword 1|keyword 1|keyword 1|keyword 2|Keyword 3|keyword 4} would yield ~50% for keyword 1. You can push the theoretical limit or add 1 more keyword to make it <50%.

So for now, think secondary, long-tail and "random" for de-optimizing your anchors.

you de-optimize your anchor text by not including your keywords in the anchor...

    for example, naked urls...http://www.mysite.com/

"click here"..."more info"...etc....get creative with this....

it could include anything and everything, just not your keywords...

Natural anchor text is very diverse... it's basically impossible to over-optimize it.

Besides keyword stuffing, which is old news, this will do nothing. For on-page anyways.

so doesnt this open the door to you being able to sabotage your competitors site by 'over-optimizing' it...
