"Outsourcing"

a guide about outsourcing? Do you know what outsourcing means?

You dont really need a guide.
Outsourcing means to get a guy to do your work :D
Outsourcing is subcontracting a process, such as product design or manufacturing, to a third-party company.
You can get freelancers on this sites

www.rentacoder.com (best for custom work)
www.scriptlance.com (best for installing scripts, small projects)
www.getacoder.com (kinda high prices)
www.getafreelancer.com (like scriptlance but in my opinion high prices and not so qualified guys)
www.elance.com (especially for companies)
www.guru.com ?!

elance is probably the largest on the Net. It has professionals in all categories. Guru.com is very similar to Elance. I've used Scriptlance a lot for all kinds of projects ranging from creating Myspace pages to fixing a phpBB for me. Haven't heard much good abuot getafreelancer but rentacoder is very good.

thanks, Im looking to get 2 articles done, for the traffic plan im setting up.

Personally I use rentacoder. To me it seems much cheaper than every other freelance site. Just be careful who you work with because you'll get people that agree to an insanely low price and after wasting your time won't be able to do the job.

If you're looking for good writing as opposed to the cheapest writing, elance has a lot of very high quality writers and the prices aren't bad for many of them

I heard an 250 word article at elance cost real cheap like $5 to 10 bucks. is that right

I've been using getafreelancer a lot for article writing and blog building with some good results.

i'll check each one out and see with one i like, thanks guys

Another good way that people overlook is using http://www.craigslist.orgto look for coders. Just post an ad in a city where there is lots of students looking for some quick work, they will help you out. Just make sure you keep them in the dark about what you are doing so they dont steal the idea entirely. Its also better because people cant see eachothers bids and will often under bid on projects.

I recommend getting your hands on "The 4 Hour Work Week" by Timothy Ferris.

The dude is a genious and he talks alot about outsourcing.

He mentions the sites you see already listed here i.e. elance, etc. however there are a couple more he uses in which he hires virtual assistants to do alot of his mundane and tedious tasks.

The sites are b2kcorp dot com and yourmaninindia dot com

Now these two sites are both in India so you definitely would want to ensure you get a VA that speaks English.

I highly recommend the book though - it makes you rethink the value you put on your time.

well, guys, just wanted to say to you all, as you already know, that India is not the only country which is being outsourced, perhaps you guys didn't know, i also work as an "outsourcer", and compare to you guys in the US/CA my salary is nothing.

i have been working for almost 2 years now as an SEO, have gained international experience by working outside this country in another company.
i'm still working here in my hometown (paramaribo, suriname - south america).

i dont always get time to post, but i am very often here. too bad that some members are leaving, i dont know why, i guess i should be more often around here to know what is happening.

There is a video guide about outsourcing . its called Replacemyself and its available here in the forums. just search it, you ll find it

If just want a couple of articles, there are people here offering services.

Odesk.com is another good place for getting work done

the best way is to get your own people applying not even on the freelance sites as they are usually not familiar with things and aren't as assertive as some of the people on the freelance sites, some of the freelancers on those sites know its just a game and they will try to play you as best they can but if you go a traditional route and post ads places, use bh methods to build links to your site targeting countries like india, philippines (even africa) then you can get applications coming in, also odesk.com is a good place to get a lot of applications from people but be careful of working through there since they have this full of shit system where the person just has to logon to this thing that takes a screenshot like once every half hour as proof they are working so they can just dick around the whole time but make sure it looks like they're working for that 1 second screen shot every half hour and the fucking assholes at odesk just ring your credit card up... its best to ask them if they can work through another site after meeting them on odesk since other sites use escrow which is a better method for this sort of thing but odesk is good since the people that run it are lazy as shit and don't care if you post your email address for them to contact you (in pms) where other sites, like getafreelancer, are very anal about it and will ban you if you do this
