I posted a project on a freelance site looking for article writers. The first bid wanted $10/article, and as you can see this would never work for submitting the articles to AC.

Are all of the freelance writers going to want this much, or might I find someone willing to accept $0.75-$1.00/article? I'd like to keep profits up, but I just don't know..what do you guys suggest?

Well it might have been the freelance site that you posted on. Some sites have very experienced writers that actually produce quality content. Therefore their price is going to be very high. I would suggest posting on getafreelancer.c0m. When you sign up, you get a free trial post that only new, inexperienced people can bid on. This means that they won't be asking a lot (also means most of them are foreign) for the articles.

If you were by GAF, you don't have to pay the bid amount any mind... it's all about the amount you offer to pay per article. I don't really know how this bid thing work, but it doen't really affect the amount you offer to pay that is if you are talking GAF.

Lol, is beginning to look more profitable launching a freelance biz @ $1.50 per rewrite.

hehe...you've got a point...once you build a good reputation online...you could really make a killing writing articles....the challenge, though, like everything else, is the initial effort that needs to be put in with low and slow results...

AC just removes all that and is like a client who is always there......

Where's your thread on getting free article? I hope it's not the one about joining the school report paper site for unique essays.

LOL, you will never get someone to write you an article for $1.
Try browsing the forum for methods to get free articles. There has been a lot that has been posted round the forum lately.

I find it's working out better writing the aricles myself rather than hiring a writer. I still always have to make different correction after getting back the articles, so I just decided what the heck, it's better I just do my own thing the way I think it's soppose to be done.

You can always get people to rewrite articles for you, as long as you provide the articles I don't see the problem. Try to find the new guys, who just started they should do it for cheaper. Maybe something like 20 Articles for 35$.
