I have a couple of questions with ac. I had ebook with all this information about 6 months ago, but just skipped over it. Now I cant find that book anywhere.

How much do you guys pay for a rewrite or if they come up with the words themselves. I heard different things like a dollar up to 2 dollars.

How do you protect yourself when ac does not pay for the article? Do you tell the writer you will pay them when the client pays you or do you lose money as cost of doing business?

I heard getafreelancer does not let you keep the writers, meaning it is for one use. At least that what said in that book. Do you talk to the writers privately.

thanks in advance

I have rewriters that I pay $1 flat too. However I have another rewriter that does them in batches of 100 who charges $1.20, I get those once a week. It doesn't really matter as $1.73 was the lowest I was ever offered. Mostly I get between $2.75 and $4.00.

Where in de hell do you guys find these writers, i really need a cheap writer and i have tried several of them, from serveral places like GAF, Guru, DP.

$1- writers are all crap and the good ones are $3- or more, if anyone cares to point me in the right direction it will be highly appreciated

i get all of my writers from craigslist. you should post the ads in countries like india and indonesia and 3rd world countries around that area. I posted my ad on craigslist like 2-3 months ago and I am still getting emails about people that would like to write for me.

Yes, my writer is from my beloved country, Indonesia. $0.6, can be used to buy one meal. :)

wow very smart idea guys... definitely going to give this a shot...
and the quality - good?... passes AC with flying colors? and yes I need that "flying colors" tag ....

Talking from experience, QUALITY is the primary problem when you're able to outsource at really low rates. Next, you get to deal with the issue of RELIABILITY, as these low-cost writers tend to grab better-paying projects that come their way, which naturally take their attention away from previous cheaper commitments.

Outsourcing writing jobs has been a big source of frustration for me. And at a time when I'm starting to get lazy writing articles on my own, I can only hope and pray that I cross paths with a QUALITY and RELIABLE writer who'd stick with me for the long term. Otherwise, I will just have to stay away from AC 'til my luck gets better.

Any $1 rewriters around, just PM. ;)

I don't set my standards as high as others I guess when it comes to $1.00 articles.

I expect to get what I pay for, thus I expect to spend on ave 5 minutes critiquing the article.

If it's less great, if it approaches the 10 minute mark, I usually don't bother with them again, unless there's potential.

I think many people want something for nothing - A.K.A - buy a $1.00 article and sell it for 3 or 4 dollars.

People jump on the "A*c sucks" bandwagon because their articles are rejected, or plagiarized, or only get a $1.25 return when in all reality the ones who take "time to do right" spend a buck and make at least $3.00 to $3.25 gross per same article 99% of the time for a 200% return on their money.

At least thats my experience.

I pay from 50 cents to a dollar. It is great! I am only getting original content now too. I do not want to get band from AC or it coming back biting me in the butt for copywrite. There are many sites that you can hire people from. I am going to try out carlitosway13
product later today when I get about 60 artiles. Of course, I will do 20 a day :).

I got some rewriters on dp, they did ok, but they did not pass copyscape, and were only 30% on dupecop I dont know if that is good enough for AC as I am just getting started, so I did not submit them.

I just assumed you need to pass copyscape to submit to ac

Dave got it spot on.

I dove in head first, ordered 200 articls at $1 each, got them. After spending about 17 hours submitting them, most were rejected anyway. I made my money back, but it wasn't worth the hassle.

Can anyone recommend good countries for < $1 quality rewriters?

Personally, I don't know if there is a "good country" for quality writers. The buzz now is Philippine writers, the stand by has been India writers. I am willing to work with anyone within my price range. As long as they meet my standards.

I have literally run through 200, maybe 250 writers to this point. As I am established (Hint) because I took the time to do things right, not fast. I put writers on a waiting list who ask me to hire them. writers come and go. I treat them right, fair, and respectful and they come back to me when they're ready.

If you want dependable writers either, pay them or teach them. Quality writers are everywhere.

Or just keep asking where they're at.

So true. I have had a couple Indian writers who speak fluent English, but I had to train them to do the kind of rewriting I'm looking for, which is to rewrite every aspect of the articles in their own words. I've ensured that I treat them right... pay them on time and always giving them advice on how to improve. Since that I've been getting the best out of them. I pay them $1 per rewrite.

But if I were to have them do fresh articles for me, I would pay them more, because quality is what I require.
