    Hi,
I'm looking to outsource my link building in small blocks at a time.

    Key Factors:
    • My main concern is to not have my site negatively impacted (like everyone else).
    • My business is B2B, my website/domain is in it for the long haul. I can't re-brand because of shitty link building.
    • Our Potential clients (executives, managers and engineers) begin their search online but will not purchase from a website. Face-to-face meetings and product trials are required because of the investment and impact on THEIR business.
    • I'm trying position the business as an industry authority

How do I ensure I source a qualified link builder at a reasonable price (we're a start up).

    Thanks in advance!

    Ok.
If they do or don't, what does that mean?

Thanks - Is there a way to ask for proof of results or other factors that may/could affect the outcome?

Outreach is something to consider, also social media.

My partner and I don't do much at all in way of backlinking for our business site, our most searched term though is our business name.

Best way to confirm if the link building is good or not is if you can understand the work done. If you can't analyse the backlinks, find someone who can. Ask as much details about their backlink sources, types, methods and the more transparent they are with you the better. Then you need to decide which ones you test with and as I already said, analyse the links done.

If SEO is going to play a role in your company's growth, you should defo at least learn the basics. Know what you're buying and ask as many questions as you have to - if they get annoyed, they're not the seller for you.

Check their track record, reviews, SERP graphs, the quality of the content, what the general public says about them (outside of the main place they market, ie. their own thread) and so forth.

Learn the basics so you know what you're getting.

ask for sites theyve previously dont back linking for, check ahrefs see what kind of links they got. How do they get their links, out reach? If they have strategic relationships they can leverage from HQ sites then that could be a good approach.

Try to learn basic SEO. This can be helpful for you when you analyze these backlinks. You can check Ahref's and see the site's links.
