    Hello Blackhats,

i want to reinvest some of the money i made into an amazon affiliate website but want to outsource the seo process.

How much can i expect to spend on seo? (for low, medium or high competition keyword)

How long does it take to rank a site in google nowadays.

You know any good seo providers you consider to do a good job?

    Cheers,

    Guybrsuh

Do some competition analysis of the first pages for the terms, see the quality of seo + social they have, and see how much it would cost to emulate it.

I`d not outsourcing something I`m not familiar with. At least You should answer to lot of questions about your offers, before to finalize purchase especially in that area.
    Anyway:
1_ Hard to say. It depends not only from the competition level but the niche, competitors actual activity, the website background.. Let`s say between 300 - 1500 for medium competition.
2_ It depends - if You want safe results it may take 6+ months. If You intend to play Rank and Run strategy - 2-5 weeks (and deep down with the next Penguin kick)
3_ Look around into the Marketplace here

the problem with outsourcing is how much does the Site make.

you would need a large site to make $1000 a month per site - which would mean you could have up to a $500 budget.

but the lower you go - then the worse quality/software produced work your going to get which would kill your site and your income.

I've tried a few VA's but the problem was they are slow // most often there written English skills don't match up with the website's and tbh just didn't work out for me.

your going to have to look hard for a good reliable person.

The problem with oursourcing is 99 out of 100 SEO marketers on these freelancer sites don't know what they are doing. Yeah, maybe 5 years ago they could rank sites, but those techniques don't work any more. So you are going to be spending a lot of money and burning through a lot of sites before you find that one guy that knows what he is doing.

Which implies that one can rank a site in g just by buying some fiverr gigs. (medium or high competition keyword)

I thought about a more standardized way to rank "clean" an stick.

    Maybe a 2014 version of this : blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/black-hat-seo/483731-how-rank-any-website-google-2-hour-video-tutorial-series-12.html

I understand your point. But arent there any serious seo agencies arround to outsource this stuff?

Sad part is that this happens way more than it should.

Might have missed Noktop's sarcasm tag there buddy.

Matthew's guide is still good in 2014, but you have to be careful with the tiers if you're automating the process.

As to OP's query: I used to buy SEO until I learned about it enough to do it on my own and then I realized what garbage I had been buying. Now the only thing I'll buy is real high PA/DA blog posts and the occasional site-wide but otherwise it's me, my tools and my trusty VPS. There's very few providers worth buying from.

Ok to give you a more clear answer:

Lets say you want to build a micro niche site (1 target keyword 5 sub keywords with 1 article for each).

Lets say the keyword difficulty is:

Very easy: $50-$100 in BHW BST's, 2-4 weeks to rank

Easy: $100-$200 in BHW BST's, 2-6 weeks to rank

Medium: $200-$500 in BHW BST's, 4-8 weeks to rank

Hard: $500-$1000 in BHW BST's, 4-12 weeks to rank

Very Hard: $1000+ in BHW BST's, 4+ weeks to rank

These are general guides I use personally on my sites. I know people will dispute them but they work for me. Time scales can take longer or shorter.

Speak directly with our big names here such as Taktical, Netmoney1, SkyrocketSEO (as examples) and let them know your needs & your budget to attain them.
The key point to remember with highly competitive SEO is you will pay $XXXX+ for the work, because you'll earn x2 or more after ranking.

Thats a decent guide. Except the prices are a bit steep if you ask me. "Very easy" keywords can be ranked for $25-$40. So I'm going to change your prices based on my own experience.

Very easy: $25-$40 in BHW BST's or WF, 2-4 weeks to rank

Easy: $40-$100 in BHW BST's or WF, 2-6 weeks to rank

Medium: $100-$300 in BHW BST's or WF, 4-12 weeks to rank

Hard: $300-$700 in BHW BST's or WF, 2-3 months to rank

Very Hard: $700-$1500 in BHW BST's or WF, 2-3 months to rank

Extremely Hard: $1500+ in BHW BST's or WF, 3+ months to rank

Thats my guide. And tbo, any persons guide is going to be highly relevant to their sources and the amount of money they've spent on testing. My one SEO guy has ranked "very hard" keywords #1 in Google for $300 over the course of 3 months. And I've ranked "very easy" keywords before with 2 fiver gigs (they may have ranked w/out the gigs for all I know). So obviously, results will vary wildy on a case by case basis.

    Amazon affiliate website
    ^

Google already tries to identify "thin content" affiliate sites.

Improve your site to the point where you can call it something else. Hobby site. Review site. Lifestyle site. Something someone might want to go to. Nobody ever goes to the search prompt thinking "I'd like to visit an Amazon affiliate site." They could just type in amazon.com for that right?

Blackhat links thrown at the wall like spaghetti at an affiliate site is the exact kind of thing Google has spent 5+ years trying to punish into obscurity. Not saying the algorithm is perfect but so far this plan doesn't look like it will end well.

I can agree with the pricing points, I mainly target the easier keywords and like to overkill it slightly to ensure #1.

If your site makes $1000/mo, then you can re-invest $1000/mo. At that point you're breaking even. Of course, if the guy doing SEO for you is a total moron (and many are), it's very likely that your site will get fucked. If I were you I'd rather invest the money in some tools and learn them WELL. You can achieve a whole lot with say GSA-SER alone, you just need some proxies and a good VPS.

many people are saying here that SEO is the waste of money and time just because they don't how to do it effectively. I would say investing in SEO is good idea but for that you will have to hire a kind of SEO person who is working as per latest trends.

I don't outsource for any of my work anymore. Most people on Odesk and such are clueless. I only outsource for bitch work that requires no brain.
