I've had limited success with PBN services, because I've found that as soon as your post drops off the first page of the PB, then the inner page that it's on has no juice.

Surely that's the same as an outreach/guest post?
You get an inner page with no juice?

Yeah I appreciate that. And also how that inner page is linked to (site structure) is also obviously a factor in regards to the inner pages power.

But what I'm really getting at is, I'm in the casino niche, which is a difficult niche, and I just don't think that inner pages of any sites have the power to boost my serps, unless those pages themselves have good link juice.

The idea that guest posts etc are really powerful links just doesn't seem to be real in my experience, unless you boost them yourself.

FWIW I've done a couple of guest posts on casino sites with good metrics, and seen no movement from them.

I've also built homepage links on unrelated sites with lesser metrics and had better results serps wise.

Am I missing something in regards to guest posts?

Well, the home page obviously has x amount of links pointing to it, and a link from the homepage will pass on a percentage of the juice from those links.

An inner page only has one link pointing to it, ie the home page, so it doesn't have much juice to pass on.

That's my theory anyway, and it seems to stand up in reality.

I have got inner page links from authority domains that have had no effect on my serps, and I have got homepage links from sites that have only really been boosted with gsa links, and those home page links have moved me in the serps.

so link the post with backlink from every single post. there are unlimitited things u can do with internal linking. also how u know only homepage has links pointing to it? its unnatural. check 404 lost link juice, then link that post with any page that has links pointing to it as well.

You mean send links to the guest post?

Doesn't that defeat the point of paying for a guest post or PBN post?

I may as well build links on high trust public domains for free and link to those instead?

And I obviously know that my guest post doesn't have links to it, because it's a brand new guest post.
