Out of curiosity, what's the whole deal with carding?

I've recently read from a user that if you want to get wealthy fast you'd most likely want to do carding and or hack BTC wallets. Whats the whole deal with carding and how likely are you to get caught? How is it profitable, etc?

I'm just curious...

I always knew the term carding belonged in the black hat section but don't really know what you actually do...

We don't talk about carding on our forum. We have nothing to
do with that illegal practice.
