A very important Twitter account of ours was hacked and taken over.. We need someone who can get it back for us. We can provide PROOF that it is indeed OUR Twitter account.. We have tried asking Twitter themselves for help, but they refuse to help us out :(
    Can anyone help us?!

I can't hack, sometimes I can even get into my account and I know the goddamn password.

OP I don't think there is anyone here that can help you. Probably you will have lot of PM's from people giving you promises but most of them are sammers and wannabe hackers.

If you have to ask, you can't afford it.

To be clear, I've been on this forum for a while and I'm a big 2600 fan so I know how all this works. I'm not just some guy that wondered in here. I have some pretty cool posts to check me out.
I'm looking for someone that has experience using some brute force crackers maybe. Anything else will be fine, I could probably do this myself but I really don't have the time.
If we dont get the account back its not the end of the world but it would be nice. Dont ask for anything ridiculous either. Be prepared to provide proof of what you do.

If you still can see your old account/know how to access it as a client/follower would, then you could start a new twitter and slowly follow all the people from your old hacked account with a bot like followliker. Put a message on your site and twitter mentioning the hack and that this is the new account. Slowly build it back up.

Sucks, but at least it's a method that's within your control.

From what i've seen on here, it looks like the success rate of old account recovery is around zero.

I think that you're searching for a hacker in the wrong forum. I'm sure that there are guys here that know how to hack... But isn't offering this kind of service against the TOS of this forum? Anyway get some bitcoins & search in the deep web.

It's just the username we're worried about.

Maybe there's a way to get it deleted.

My stupid music partner was in to this habit of creating the accounts with this super lame password that consisted of the username and a number one at the end...<facepalm>
By the time it was starting to matter and I started to get serious about security it was to late. At least for this twitter account. lol I wanted to kill him, but then again it was also my fault for letting him do that at first.
I probably shouldn't do this but seeing as I am getting more serious about security, it shouldn't be to much of an issue. People are probably going to try to mess with me anyway.
My name is Tek Knowledge, that's my stage name anyway. I'm in a group called Crew Mentality, you should find it if you google it. My partners name is Tyler Drama he's also in a pop punk band called Bad Case of Big Mouth and we promote them to.
I'm the rapper guy, whats cool is I rap a lot about what we do here, and no worries its not corny I make us nerds look cool.
    I try to anyway.
CrewMentalityDOTcom is also a good place to start. That's the site I've been trying to monetize.

Oh and I'm not sure if he used a phone to create the account I'll ask.

It's not about using a phone to create the account, it's an option inside your account where you add your mobile number and then select,
So if someone does get lucky and guess your password right, they won't be able to change it unless they also have access to your mobile phone.

Thanks man I'll remember that. The twitter username is crew mentality obviously. You'll see one tweet an a picture of us so you know that's us. My question is why would someone hijack an account and then let it sit there? It doesn't look like someone's using it for anything.
