I have used cheap traffic to lower EPC, etc.
However, I was wondering if anyone has used cheap traffic in other ways?
For example, traffic emporium sends you real people from parked domains, I think. You get 10K hits/$10. If you can convert 0.01% for a $10 product you break even. A decent CB landing page would be 1% conversion. So, even with a 100-fold reduction in traffic quality, you could still break even, or even make money. Has anyone tried that out? I know "theory" never works out properly.
Here's another idea. I don't know how much money you can make from a youtube video. Would it be worth it to use cheap hits to drive up youtube views and make the most viewed page? I have no idea what conversion rates are for youtube videos. I would guess they are dismal, so maybe that's not worth it. Or just to supplement your blackhat tube apps.
