other than exact match domains and searches per month, what do you do for keyword research?

    Is anyone able to tell me what else you would do? How come people use all these tools that don't give you more information than what you get from google? Google doesn't even give you the accurate data, anymore, either, it's like 100-1000 searches per month.

    You can still get the accurate data but you need to be running an AdWords campaign.

    Away from that I just scroll down on Google and see what the related searches are. Open each of these and repeat.

    This depends on the type of market you're trying to rank in. Is it Amazon affiliate or Adsense or local SEO etc. ?

    Analyzing the competition in the SERP is the best approach I think. I like Ahrefs for this. You can see what other KW's a certain page is ranking for. So you aren't going after a single kw for your page, you can see which other KW's your competitors pages are ranking for and make sure you optimize for them.
