Hello friends & marketeers,

I have seen content rank on aged domains that was totally not in the same niche. For example: health content that is ranking on aged domain about lawyers.

Just want to be sure before doing this myself.

What are your experiences with this?

Enlighten me please :)!

i saw some metrics on some domains not accurate, mean only experience tells correct metrics

It may rank, but find at least a small % of relevance, else it will not make any sense.

It's usually better to stick to domains niche for best results, drift too far from the main niche might harm your rankings. You need to research carefully and understand the risks before try this strategy.

It works out but the visitors for the site will be low when its come to unrelated niche so going with relevant niche will help you to build visitors to the site

Putting different topics on old websites might help a little at first, but it's not a smart long-term plan for doing well in search engines.
It's better to talk about stuff on your website that makes sense, so people and search engines know what your site is all about and can find it easily.

I have found a good aged auction domain on dynadot which is 7 years old. Checked hosting history (archive), DNS history Google indexed, no spam backlinks, DA 26, TF 21, 951 RD, same niche.
Traffic slowly went down and after it has been used a 301 (@Nargil says this is not bad, as many domains get redirected over time).

I have failed a few times with auction domains and that why I would like somebody here also to have a look at it, just for a second opinion. Please DM and I will share the domain name.

It would help me out so much! Thanks so much you all :)!

Aged domains with good metrics and clean profile will help you rank the content.
