    Hi all!

On ORM you usualy have a reviews portal(funnel) for the business and the link from the website is printed on a business card that you give to clients. But how do you make them to leave the review? I was thinking about giving a prize(in money-$100 or services) to those who leave a review. Random choose a winner every month. Does anybody know if that converts or does anybody know another method?

    Thanks!

by doing that you'll be loosing a lot of reviews... some people might not be satisfied enough with your services to leave a review in order to enter into a raffle and win another 'go' at your service.

best way to get reviews is to do a good job and have a good communication with the buyers... buyers experiencing excellent customer support are the ones who will most likely leave a review, even if your service didn't meet their expectations. Basically if you talk to them they will most likely talk back...

even on Amazon or ebay you will see 4 star reviews from buyers that didn't get what they wanted but appreciated the customer support and the speedy 'problem solving' process.

One way I get reviews on fiverr is to give people a bonus... so if I sell you 3 pieces of crap and you leave a review (good or bad) I will give you a 4th piece of crap... This way I can easily see exactly why people might've not been satisfied with my service and, even if the review is there for everyone to see I can tend to it and improve my service accordingly rather than just refunding money to keep a clean sheet. Also the buyer might be impressed with my acceptance of his bad review and consider giving me another chance or recommending me to people who might benefit from my crappy service more than he did.

there's no such thing as bad publicity

Thanks for reply. So the best way to get reviews is to comunicate with your clients and offer them a bonus or a discount(if the business provide services).
