I once spoke to a man who offers a service here, and when he offered to send me a bespoke report based on my own website ( part of his sales part of the purchase ) he told me that I needed to create 1 - 2 KW content per day on my site and that would make his tool work.

W.T.F. I thought... if we could all write content that often and publish it.. 1. We would all be millionaires. 2. We wouldn't need your fucking tool would we.

So anyway there I have been creating ORIGINAL content and exceeding 2 pages of KW content per day that is quality - and no change on my Serps at all and no entries from these locations on my platform.

Perhaps then you might have a theory on how many pages, or how long you would sit like a moron concocting stupid self help KW articles that no fucker reads stacked with KW's and Outbound and Internal links.

Half the reason I created a blog/ content portion of our application was to build authority but with more than 200 pages of 1000 content, plus 200 more completely unique content, surely I should be seeing these rank or something?

Each page has the first few sentences set as the Page description and each title of each content page is a fcking KW... plus I have a 2 - 8 % density on each page....

    AHHHHHH

HI.. i do not see why you need so many hundred pages of content on your website. SERP ranking is strongly dependent on 3 factors, content, onsite seo and your backlinks.

So if you had submitted some of the articles on ezine or articlesbase etc, you could have gotten some valuable backlinks too. Try getting some SEO tools for backlink building or outsource services. I'm sure you can move places on search engines, if you just focus on the 3 main factors i mentioned.

And honestly, 8% KW density is grossly high, keep it around 4-5%.

Oh yes, KW competition is another HUGE factor. I got keywords with a few hundred searches a month right on the first page of google, while more competitive ones take longer. So i'd advise you take some help on this too.

I am seeing movement, I use Link Push, X Rumer, Angela Paul, AMR and so on but very few of these movements are due to the content on my site.

Surely 100s of pages of decent advice or KW editorial counts as CONTENT right?

Still looks as though blogs on your own site have very little global effect against other activities. Anyone care to agree or disagree... very odd but I have been writing KW articles on my site and its made no diff...

Maybe its indirect????? and results elsewhere are really partly down to the content? even though the content never ranks or makes a difference on its on.

I have never actually sat and compared the figures, but I have always found that sites with more content seem to have been easier to rank than thinner sites. Of course this could be coincidence, and it is only one mans opinion.

I think for anyone to give you a thorough answer we would need more information, such as keyword competition, actual rankings (for homepage and any other high ranking pages), how long you have been adding two pages per day, and your link structure from homepage (do you use tags, have an xml sitemap etc).

edit: Agree with seoguru, 8% KW density might possibly be seen as spam.

My bet is that you have a poor linking structure... try doing some wiki linking between posts... build deeplinks.

also, add rich media to your pages (images, video, audio, etc). With that much content, you gotta be getting a shit load of traffic from long tail keywords.

and 8% keyword density isnt enough to be considered spam and penalized.

From my experience, whenever I make a new blog post, I get a boost in traffic (especially since I ping/post on social media sites)

SEO is about doing everything not just one thing and hoping that this is going to be it.

    1. On page SEO
    2. Unique Content
    3. Backlinks, not from one source but from many. High PR backlinks. Backlinks from edu and gov.
    4. True authority sites point to other authority sites. Ad links on your site pointing to other authority sites.

Actually the "content is King" theory is legit.

I have a site that I add 5,000 words a day to and the articles that I add get indexed in minutes and all I do initially is ping them with my large ping list.

Also, content is King is only part of the real equation, "Content is King and backlinks are Queen and together they make great children."

Everything else being equal, more content should equal better rankings.
