My sleep patterns are extremely bad. I usually go bed no earlier than 2AM in the morning, a lot of the times between 2-4AM and sometimes I end up going to bed when the sun rises and everyone else wakes up, lol. Waking up is even worse, I end up sleeping anywhere from 10-12 hours, it just feels so great to sleep hence even if my alarm wakes me up I switch it off and just go back to bed. Depending on how important the next day is I can sometimes end up sleeping less than 3-6 hours. You get the point? My sleeping patterns are really messed up and I need to do something about it as I'm sure it is affecting my health, especially because I'm still developing. So how long do you sleep, when do you wake up? I want to organize a sleeping pattern that I will stick to. It must be suitable for day to day living as well as exercising. I don't want to sleep for too short and I don't want to sleep for too long. At first I was thinking that something around 6.5-7 hours would be enough but when it comes to exercising and going gym I will definitely need more sleeping time to let my body regenerate. So I think 7-8 hours would sound about right*but then again what time do I actually go to bed? I don't want to go too early and I don't want to wake up too late. I really like staying up till like 1AM but this will have to change and I don't see how I can start going bed at like 10PM after years of unregulated sleep, lol.
