As most noticed by now, those money milking creeps at FB have changed the news feed algo once again and as a result, the organic reach went to hell.

It's also ridiculous how I spent ~ 400$ on populating my page with 9000 fans, yet once it settled down a bit, only 300 are "talking about", namely, engaged. WTH? if this is not a scam, then I don't know what is... the content is good.

Now, it's needless to say, but when you post an outside link on your FB page wall, the organic reach automatically contracts even further. At least, based on my experiences in the past 2 months.

I've now noticed some pages, with lots of likes, trying out a slightly different method, which is posting a pic (not sharing it) and adding a Bitly link that goes to their monetizing webpage.

Did anyone notice the same? does it really provide better results from simply sharing a link? I wonder.

I have spend more then 20K$ last year on building 30K page. Sharing just link will not increase reach... sometimes I can still get 5K reach, but most of the time is 1K. And there is no way around this...

$20k for a 30k page? what ???

Anyway.. I also noticed a significant reach difference when posting a video vs a picture. A picture consistently get a much higher reach. Can anyone else confirm this?

I was using news feed ads and link to my website(I have made some money back) not directly page likes. Yes picture or video get higher reach, but if you include link you will get raped.
