.org or .net?

well i would prefer the .com, but thats the tld the product owner uses.

.net ranks higher than .org almost every time from what i see.

For selling stuff- .net . Like a above- .org, nuff said.
For heavens sake, .org means your an organization, which more often used by non-profit org, or get both and redirect one to another as you please.

Here's a "Wickedly Evil Trick" I just recently learned. I haven't tried it yet, but I am told that it will work.
Look at my thread below and scroll down to "rhino's" reply. Then think about it and how buying a domain name that STARTS with "com" would work . . . ESPECIALLY when you create a subdomain with the name of the product you are promoting.

always preferred net over org, as org just 'feels' like it should be for groups, unions, churches, etc. net I guess has a certain appeal because it is the inter-net after all!

It's for a high ticket mentoring program. So .net is perfect
.com-discount and .com-discounts are taken my fave ones. Decided on one though.

I prefer net over org.
I have tested both and have found net to outrank org most of the time.
Plus, like others have stated, org just seems like something for an actual organization like churches, non-profit organizations, unions, etc.
