Do you mean sponsored tweets? If so, then you need to contact Twitter directly.

If you mean a program that will post tweets on auto pilot and follow/unfollow, DM, etc - then take a look at this:

Welcome. You may also want to seek out more recent reviews of the software. We do not use it for getting followers at the moment - for over a year now we only use it to push out automated tweets - but we still get our followers naturally. So I can't vouch for that part of the software at this time - but for just pumping in pre writter tweets and scheduling them to go off every X minutes or X hours it works like a charm.

What do you mean by "promo"? My favorite way to schedule tweets is with buffer, but I don't know what you mean by promo... Buying Twitter ads? Paying for a large account to retweet?

Sending out tweets about a website. I assume that I need to follow people first?

I have TweetAdder and I use it to promote my website. I haven't really gotten serious about it until the last few days actually. I bought it after reading this forum where people made it sound like it was a set-it-and forget it type of thing, and the traffic would just fly in. I may have set it up the wrong way but, it basically takes an RSS feed from my forum and tweets out the latest post every hour or so. I've gotten very little traffic from it. However, I've changed things around a bit and it seems to be doing better. Instead of using a generic pic of my logo, I now use a pic of a busty woman in a bikini I've added probably 30 friends just from that in the last 3 days. Its still a work in progress but I would suggest trying to make it look as real as possible and including pics of things that people want to see every now and then. It's pretty obvious when its an auto tweeter if done improperly.

Well, I have just opened the account and I am not following anyone nor are they following me as of yet. My main questions are, must I find users that are in to what the site is based around for this to work? Also, when setting up a tweet on auto tweet what are the best settings? I am new to this so any help is much appreciated.

I would suggest using the tweet search feature to find people in your niche and then adding them. With the new version you have to manually add people, in the old version you could basically auto-scrape users and then auto-follow them (twitter didn't like that). It depends on what site you're trying to advertise, as I said my site is a forum so it makes sense to simply tweet the latest forum post as its always new. If you don't have a content source I would suggest making a few comments and spinning them you should include the link to your site of course. Some people will search for the top treadling hash tags and then and them in their tweet thereby getting more exposure. I personally don't do that because its spammy and its backfired for me. I was advertising a porn site and I sent out a tweet for the hash tag KCA which was the top hash tag that day. Unbeknownst to me KCA stands for kids choice awards, so I basically sent out a link to a porn site with the hash tag kids choice awards. After that I decided against that method.
