    the ratio of your top 3 competitors is the right ratio for you..

    Just make sure you have a good mix of do-follow and nofollow links. There is no specific ratio you should aim for.

    There are different statistics, but overall 2-3% of all links on the web are nofollow. Doesn't mean more hurts, doesn't mean they are are worthless, but you can rank fine without a single nofollow link.
