Exactly 9 days ago today I optimized a PR 1 website of a plumber. Didn't do anything black hat. I added the name, address, phone number in the header and footer. I added schema. I added geo meta tags. I changed the name of the title to the keyword. Added a 150 word meta description. Added alt tags to the pictures. Nothing else.

The next day I lost all of my local rankings, and a few days later the website completely disappeared for the keyword I'm chasing. So it's been about 5-6 days since the websites been completely lost for the keyword.

I know this is a common occurrence. It's happened to me before with another website. But it would disappear and come back stronger after 2-3 days. Sometimes it would disappear and come back after only 1 day. In this case, it's been 5-6 days. At what point do I call it quits and completely reverse all the website optimization I've done? How long should I wait? I highly doubt I over optimized it.

I put the meta description tag in my header (wordpress website) - it contains the keyword phrase two times. Since the header section shows for every page in wordpress, that means the same exact meta description is showing on each page. I just searched for site:Mysite.com in Google and the meta description shows for every page. Is this a problem?
