    Hi,

I am in process of create a CPA landing page. As cpa landing page only consist of a link to proceed to the actual offer page, i am wondering if incorporating a opt in list will be beneficial.

In some circumstances, visitors may be confused over the opt in form and button to the actual offer. Will doing that harms the conversion rate?

for e.g. visitor click on the wrong button "opt in" instead "get the deal" etc.

OR instead, this is a better flow.
CPA landing page does not consist of link to offer page. Visitors can only optin in, and the offer link will be send via email.

Is there any good cpa landing page where i can take reference to?

Advice appreciated greatly. thanks in advance.

I actually placed an e-mail capture popup (which darken the LP behind it) from mailchimp, which visitors can enter name and email into, then see the LP, or if not, they close the popup from "x" and proceed to LP.

So I started gathering hundreds of subscribers, then based on country I send various offers which bring in some more conversions. I personally think it helps. My visitor/conversion ratio was not affected and having a list feels great.

If you choose to have them opt-in then yea in the beginning your conversion rate will probably be lower until you learn how to optimize the landing page like testing different call to actions/images/layouts. Your visitors shouldn't be confused about what to do since they won't see your offer page until they opt-in on the landing page.

A lot of marketers told me this when I first started, sending them directly to the offer might be the faster way to make money but collecting their name/email will help you immensely in the long run since you can sell to these people over and over. "The money is in the list", if you have a active list you have an asset that won't die when google changes there algorithm or if you run out of money to run ppc campaigns.

Check out http://90secondsqueezepage.com/ I know thats an easy way to make really good landing pages.

    Good luck!

Before you build opt-in pop-up on your LP, make sure your traffic converts first.
Study the angle of your targeted traffic would help you make a better LP and give an insight to your list.

Optimize one variable instead of optimizing everything simultaneously.
(Start by LP (layout, color, content) then tweak the pop-up).
