I'm looking into becoming a financial advisor for Charles Schwab, a company that hasn't recognized the internet for its potential.

I'm curious if anyone knows of anyone, can show me examples or has ideas on how to employ methods discussed in this website in a financial advising setting.

I've been thinking about how take advantage of the internet in a position like this for a while and have yet to really come up with anything because a majority of the clients are retired.

Either way, I don't want to miss the internet marketing ship on this.

    Thanks
    Eddie

It probably wouldn't be a good way to gain the trust of your clients by telling them how to do blackhat techniques.

And as a salesman (i mean financial advisor), how much commission do you think you could get out of these people?

Maybe I wrote that poorly - I don't want to teach them bh techniques. I don't even really have a strong desire to use BH techniques to attract clients.

Just searching for ideas on the best way to market a service like this.
    Commissions are around 40%

Maybe you should find out what their policies are about internet marketing.
Charles Schwab has a very recognizable name and maybe they have rules against certain types of marketing.

You would think that they restrict social networking websites methods? I haven't looked into it. will do so.

I don't think you get that information until you get into the system. I can't imagine they would take issue with white hat seo
