I remember when Wordpress went to No-Follow by default. Mainly because Google is a bitch. I hate that we need to create so much SPAM just to rank a good site.
Do any of you think devaluation will be the future of Web 2.0 properties?

Google seems to be moving towards a "pay me or you won't be seen" business model. Anyway, what do you think about the Web 2.0s? I am thinking about making a couple of blog networks out of Web 2.0s using FCS Networker.

I've found a good writer, FCS and Word AI should do the rest, right. Or am I missing something?

I think you're right. Are you going to use the web2.0 properties as tier 1 for your money site? From what I understand, it might be a good idea to use other kinds of links as tier 3 and maybe tier 2 as well, other than web2.0s. I've recently started doing these web2.0 networks myself, but I hope they won't get devalued for a while at least. I'm not sure how they will do it though, because it's still popular to read these kinds of blogs, and ignoring the sites that they link out to would produce skewed results in my opinion.

Im sure in the future google will devalue web 2.0s but for now they are still working.

You should also look for expired web 2.0s, many great ones are out there.

I was thinking of building 8 to 10 pages in about a week and then maybe add a new article once a week. Is 10 pages in a week too much? Maybe 5 is better, then 2 the next week, and then maybe 1 week?

What about FCS Networker? Is it the go-to tool for this sort of linking.
I have Ultimate Demon and it just does not seem well-suited to the task.

    Any opinions on FCS Networker?

is there another tool that is competitive with FCS that I should evaluate?

Rankwhyz has some nice added features (like serp tracking) compared to FCS.

I don't even know what a "web 2.0" is. What was web 1.0? When will you IMers move on to web 3.0. 2.0 is aging you guys. Should be 4.0 by now. You guys are slacking.

FCS Networker works perfectly. I agree with Kralj187... you have to do it the right way.

I recommend you to use SEO Content Machine with WordAi. They work great together (you can use them with GSA too).

There is no evidence that G devalues any links solely based on the platform, not to mention that web2 term is a rather vague definition from the techical point of view
It's all about authority of the page and domain where link is coming from.
So better question would be - can we build high authority blogs/pages with web2.

you can see a case study ranking hundreds web2 blogs for long term, affiliate niche related keywords

Web 2.0 still have a great impact on rankings if done right.
Forget the spammy web 2.0 with single 300 words article.. They won't do any good. But a high quality web 2.0 are next to PBN.

This because them are used for spam purposes. Spam is beautiful when works but it's not for long run.

I usually create all my Tier's manually because a good web 2.0 with quality content and proper on page seo can pass good link juice, all my tier 1 web 2.0's have a PA of 20+ and i have been seeing pretty good results in easy/medium niches. Although you cant just depend on one type of link to hit the 1st page.

It is true WEB 2.0 is still there, and as long as Google loves them/and loves them/ will be still effective. It takes some time to gain PA,but if you do everything manually, all the articles images etc.It is good in the long run.Web 2.0 creation programs...they are good, just don't have control over it like when you do it manually.

It pretty much comes down to how and what for you build them. Thin 1 page web2s don't work as good as they did before, absolutely right. Same goes for the tier2 approach: not so long ago, just with a 2-3 tier deep GSA blast to let's say 20+ web2s, you've seen significant ranking increases. Nowadays, I personally mix in a lot of higher quality links like PBNs / SAPE / "better" tier1 GSA SER links as tier 2 and the effect is still there - but certainly not as good as before.

A decent aged 301 or homepage link as tier1 will do way better than a web2 from my experience, while the cost will be pretty similar except buying the domain. Longterm, web2s are a good addition for diversity, bit certainly not the only thing you'll need to rank. Times are over you ranked with 10 web2s backed by 100s of thousands of tier2s.

Use the Web 2.0s to build trust and then drive power in them. You need the trust to get the higher rankings because of all the authority websites.
