I am a newb to IM and have had moderate to good success with my first Amazon Affiliate site. I learnt a lot on my journey but my first attempt is making money, anywhere between 10-20$ per week. Im happy as it was a test to see if I could do it and as long as I made my money back on domain and hosting I was happy.
I managed to get my website to Page 1 with mostly white hat methods, no link buying and all manual link building.
My traffic is going up every week.

So I decided its working. My only problem with above mentioned site is traffic. Monthly searches are 14,000 and I probably get about a 10% share of that (according to analytics)

Now I believe I have found another niche that I am very confident I will page 1 within 3 weeks for sure. I know that as the competition is less than my first website.

The only problem is that the Global monthly searches are just 3000 and local (USA) just 2000.
On the flip side however, the products are all priced 300-1500$ price range so commission would be higher, where as my current site is products between 50-150$

SO... MY QUESTION..... Is it worth doing this second niche site or should I wait until I find one with more monthly searches?

Opinions greatly appreciated; I am in no hurry for my next project as I have offline work to keep me going so if the overall consensus is that its probably not worth it then so be it.

    Thanks in advance

lower searches not mean that you will get less $$

100 targeted traffic of a $500 product can make good $$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Its very targeted and one thing I wish i did with the first site was go for a higher price product.

Current site gets 10% conversion of clicks for amazon, which I think is good?
