Hey everyone, I have had my twitter account for over a year now. I currently have 12.8k followers and I'm following 12.5k back. I've been using manageflitter every night to follow/unfollow when I get in from work usually. Generally I follow between 140-150 a day, and I unfollow about 120-150 a day as well. I usually unfollow the people I followed two days prior also, meaning I followed tonight, and unfollowed the people I followed two nights ago before following the new ones. I know of one account who literally had 3,000 followers 4 weeks ago and was following about 400 back. Jump to now, and this guy has gotten 40,000 followers. He's also only had his account for about 220 days according to the manage flitter stats. How can I jump my followers a good deal? I'm lucky to hit 1k followers over what I'm doing now in 3 weeks. I'm following people who follow similar accounts (basically people that follow popular accounts that my tweets are similar to). Should I use a different tool for following? or how do you folks do it?
