hey guys, ill try to make this quick and as unconfusing as possible..
so i just recently got into an argument with my dad (we're both internet marketers..) about the reason google deindexed one of his websites. obviously, I want to be the correct one, so any opinions about the why this happened is super appreciated!
(keep in mind the website is basically an autoblog targeting adsense clicks) the situation is this: He had a page ranked website with lots of indexed content on it. He deleted all of the articles (all the content) and uploaded more. now, we both know it takes some time for google to index the new content, but when he deleted the original content it also deindexed his website. for clarity when i say deindexed his website i mean, that the website cant be found on google. i dont think it was actually sandboxed..
The question is, did google penalized him because of the scrapped content? or is the website not found on google because all of the origonal content is gone and the new content hasnt be found yet.
We know that a website with virtually no content, i.e. a domain name with a default template, CAN be indexed. So why, if only the content was deleted, would the website also be deindexed.
*phew* hope that wasnt to confusing. Thanks in advance for any help!
