I'm testing now but also looking for opinions....

Websites are niche and/or micro-niche...EMD or close to it...low competition...
and medium to high ($1.00-$5.00) CPCs.

Which direction would you be more likely to go heavily with these sites: Adsense, or clickbank/CPA products?

Adsense can terminate your account at any time while CB/CPA - The chances of it happening are very slim to none.

    You choose.

It is still possible to get banned with CPA. You always need to be careful with everything you do.

Definitely adsense imo. The getting banned stuff is way overblown

    not really

The smarter person in this case would not do Adsense. What are you going to do If your account was to be banned? Put some Chitika ads on it? LOL.

But seriously - CPA is the way to go for long term. While you still can get banned, there are many other networks with the same offer (more than likely) but it is more of a stable income than Adsense.

"building 50 sites around 50 topics with contents being populated from articles sites"

Sure, creating 50 adsense sites with stolen/copied content = ban. No surprise there.

No need to show me someone QQ'ing about getting banned. Adsense still rocks and stop being paranoid.

Don't pay attention to all the "you'll get banned with Adsense" people- most of them just have a grudge because they couldn't follow the T.O.S. and got banned. If you are going to play by the rules, then Adsense is a great option. Whether or not CPA would be better really depends on your niche and site.

One word "test". Try different things and see what works best, you may find the best is a combination of 2 different options. Just remember to stay within TOS as others said and you'll never have a problem.

Totally depends on the niche. Not all niches lend themselves to promoting CPA/CB.

Also it depends on the volume of traffic you have. If you have low traffic then waiting for a CB sale can take a while. At the same time you can have trickle-in AdSense clicks to keep you going.

Very true - should have said that they were in niches that fit well with CB products and higher-priced CPA offers.

My natural inclination, having come from a background where I used adult PPS almost exclusively, would be to go with CB and higher-priced CPA, since I'm used to playing the "waiting for conversions" game - and I never was a fan of adult PPC.

But I also hear about people who do very well with high cpc Adsense, which is foreign to me but rather enticing. That's why I was looking for feedback from people who've decided on one option or the other - while waiting for my own tests to show some results.

Thanks to everyone, keep 'em coming :)

Here's a way to calculate things, since you're coming from adult PPS:

Say you get roughly 1/300 conversions for any CB product. In order to send 300 to the CB offer you probably need at least 1K worth of traffic to your site, but that's highly optimistic. I personally get $10-15/day from AdSense on a site doing 100-150/day, medium CPC. Now estimate, based on the above numbers, how much you'd make with AdSense for any given amount of traffic and compare with the conversions and PPS you'd get from CB for the same traffic. Then choose whichever one is higher.

Math can be pretty simple. ;)

Now THAT is what I call useful information :)
I'm certainly used to doing the math when it comes to adult; haven't had enough CB/adsense traffic on these sites yet, to be able to come up with ratios, let alone adsense projections. That was greatly helpful. Thanks (+ rep given)

BTW, are you the same DamageX as the adult DamageX?
