I am looking to set up my first website for my small business, I will need only 4 or 5 pages initially and have seen offers from iPage, fatcow and hostpapa that appear to do what I am needing.

I was looking for any feedback from those who know as to how good they are as I plan to design and set the site out myself with a decent template format.

    Thanks for any advice

If you only need hosting for 4-5 page any of that hosting will enough for you.

iPage and Fatcow are the same thing, but with a Big difference - iPage is a lot cheaper!
I personally recommend iPage, I haven't been hosting with them in the past few months but till about 6 months ago when I was using their services I was very pleased with the quality/price.
They've been doing some pretty good promotions that I've been receiving by mail. $2.5/month, including domain registration and advertising vouchers, that's almost like robbing them!:D Better than that only the offer of 1 year of hosting for $1, but that don't includes the domain registration and I don't get emails with that offer for a long time, and I think that offer is just for former customers.
I've also heard that hostgator is very good and has a very good customer support, but is more expensive and I never hosted there.
There's another thing you have to take into consideration, that is using Cpanel or Vdeck. If you don't mind using Vdeck then go ahead and try iPage or Fatcow, as I said they are exactly the same. If you want Cpanel hosting hostgator is a good alternative.
Both Cpanel and Vdeck give you software installers, with which you can install WP, Joomla, Drupal, etc... If you to know my opinion the difference between them is Cpanel might be a little easier to use, but if you spend a little more time learning how to use Vdeck, you'll also love it.
I don't use iPage anymore because I wanted to host the sites in my country.
    Don't go for free hosting!
    Just my 2 cents.

    Home Page:
For 4-5 pages site, ipage or fatcow or other shared web hosting are OK.
cPanel is the best control penal for shared hosing in my opinion.
I don't use any website builder from hosting company. I always use WordPress to build my site.
