Opinion needed:what is most advanced and secure shopping cart platform?

Hi guys and gals.
I want to build a store to sell stuff online and I was wondering to hear an opinion as to what is the most flexible and secure platform for online commerce? I don't like OS-commerse though

I started a thread about this a few days ago and everyone seems to be using Magento. THe word on the street is that it is the best.
