Opinion - Are Autoblogs Dead/Will Be Dead Soon?

    Like the title says. Also, do you still consider them as automatic money machines anymore with Google cracking down forcing you to constantly build links, new sites, etc...

    Maybe they will die in the way you perceive/think of them right now, but its all about adapting and finding new ways. What the hell is an autoblog anyway - a blog just consisting of auxiliar RSS feeds, so what happens when you add one of your own posts on it - is it a real blog then? Cracking down on autoblogs just means you might have overdone it and should find more intelligent ways of building them. So, no, I dont think they will die anytime soon.

    Agreed. Goog wants to see good user experience. If the AB is put together to bring a good experience, it will be fine in a manual review. Intelligently collecting a number of sources and integrating them into a single post is one way of benefiting users.

    depends on the details of how u do things. most methods are crap if u don't do them right. google is getting smarter every day at detecting poorly implemented stuff. but if u do it right it works just fine.
