I'm just afraid that after the switch is back on, google realized that they have lost $37.9 billion/365 days = ~ 103 million for that day ... and they will get even more nasty. Who know what next?

I won't hold my breath. I think it's all BS... remember the whole fox news and facebook thing? None of that happened. It would be cool if they did though -- just for a day. Anything to pull money out of Google's pocket. But it would work better if they did it in the middle of the week -- not on a weekend. WTF? Nobody is on the web on weekends anyway.

    Why sadly?

If you're on this forum, it means (or should mean) you use the internet to make your livelihood. Why would it be sad, if they don't hurt your business?

I can understand them taking down websites of companies / government institutions that are up to no good, but if they did this, they're just being dicks and screwing everyone.

Oh good they're going to reset the Internet? Does that mean that when it comes back on it will be as easy to make money as it was in 2000?

What do you have against the panda? Think if it were a Grizzly bear. You know what a Grizzly bear is, what it does, why would attack you, etc. Yet, you insist on putting your arm in his mouth, punching it in the head and you wish he didn't bite you. It is easy. Instead of putting your hand in its mouth or even going close to his territory, just go around it to get to your destination (achieve your goal).

They can't bring down Facebook they damn sure can't bring down the internet. What if all these scare tactics were meant to scare people into getting the government to step in

they aint going to do sheeeeet. Impossibre i tell you. DDOS on those servers? Whats the reason?

But wait, what happens if these servers are rendered permanently disabled. I know that a ddos attack wouldn't do that but still. Do they back that shit up? I mean golly folks. They probably have a secondary backup anyways.

    Media is stupid.

    ^ I aint afraid of nothing ^
