    My google analytics shows a large number of visits coming from this site. Anyone else experience this?

    Google Analytics is a free service offered by Google that generates detailed statistics about the visitors to a website. Google analytics also very helpful for analyst of site..if you got more traffic that's good for you ..you can also set your goal here.

    I'm guessing that's your competitor checking your site out. I don't see any other reason why you'd be getting referall traffic from Open Site Explorer(which is basically a backlink checker).

    I'm confused. Did the person who started this thread use Google Analytics to check out the site? That probably would help.

    Yep. Google analytics showed it. I was looking at the "in real time." section and I noticed a lot of traffic from that source . Also this is the amount of traffic I got from it this month ImageUploadedByTapatalk1335937014.161529.jpg

    Most likely your competition is doing research on your website... There's not much that you can do.

    21 is a big number even if someone is researching your website...unless they're viewing the data for separate pages?

    seomoz is updating there index this week, so it would seem that's probably whats on. I don't think its anyone checking you out i look up my sites all the time on open site and don't get traffic from it.

    Have you excluded your own ip from google analytics? Do you use ose and been checking out your links?
