Opening a new sports blog....where can I get images to use?

I am opening a new sports blog. My blog will talk about NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL and a bunch of other stuff. I am wondering about what images I can use for my site. Where can I get images to use?

I see on popular blogs like perezhilton.com he uses images from anywhere, but he puts in his disclaimer that "all images used on this site is believed to be fair use and readily available on the internet". "if you have a complaint about an image used, please contact use for removal"

Is that a good way to protect yourself?

You could set up a camera in front of your tv and take your own. A capture of a live video feed would be hard to prove the source.

Or play your luck and try shielding yourself by a disclaimer but that shield might be easily breeched by a legal team intent on settlement.

But leasing image rights would be best if you wanted to go big.
 
I would think that if you used the disclaimer, you could still be held liable. I do not think that I would risk it.
 
If you credit the source and its considered fair use you might be ok?
 
You can use google.
images > advanced settings > change the user rights to "free to use, even commercially", or something like that and search away.

These are some lists where you can get some royalty free free images + good pixal,
p.s. Don't blame me i you didnt get what you want. Its better to have your own camera and sharpen your photogrphy skills.

If you have ScrapeBox you could use the Image Grabber add on and select non copyright images add your keywords and you will be swamped with images.
